Sevka V. Economic Potential of Housing Construction in the Context of a Better Provision of People with Housing in the Region

The object of study: the processes of socio-economical development of the region. The aim of study: the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for reprocessing of economic potential of the house construction in the region. Methods of study: systematic-structural analysis; method of comparison; correlation analysis; experimental method. The practical significance of results lies in the fact that the proposals of the the author were used by the Committee on Social Policy and Labour of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, by the State Architectural and Construction Inspectorate of Ukraine and others. Scientific novelty of results lies in fact that it was the first time when the theoretical and methodological basis for the formation of economic potential of of the house construction development in the region in such segments as "new construction", "reconstruction", "completion of construction" and "major repairs of living-space fund" were developed; conceptual foundations of living-space fund management in the region by separate segments were set; and the model of definition and forecast of economic potential of house construction by segments. Were implemented: approaches to definition of components of economic potential at the regional level; approaches to the development of house construction support in the region; mechanism of implementation of strategy for development of economic potential of house construction in the region. Further development have got: principles of formation of economic relationships in the house construction business.
