Essay

The physical and technical background of the creation of optoelectronic acousto-optic computing environments with dynamically configurable architecture on the base of optoelectronic acousto-optic computing devices and photorefractive storage media is developed. The mathematical modeling and experimental investigation of the computing environment elements' formation process were conducted, and was shown, that its performance (the rate of elements' formation of ~ el/s) is comparable with the most advanced electronic processors, while is not associated with a number of technological challenges inherent in electronic engineering. The mathematical model of the pattern of optical interconnections was pro-posed, and the structure and mathematical model of optoelectronic integrated computing environment with dynamically changeable architecture was developed, which in the case of bulk interconnections allows to calculate the combinational logic functions of 250000 variables and to provide the operations per second performance with the existing elements' base.
