Essay

The thesis is an attempt to solve a scientific and applied problem, which is to develop the scientific and technical bases of creation and application of electrotechnological complexes of purification and separation of weakly conducting suspensions in an alternating electric field of high intensity. Theoretical and experimental studies were carried out. They allowed starting a new trend - the use of travelling electric field in the devices for separation and purification of weakly conducting suspensions. The mathematical models of electric field, force field and moment of force in multiphase systems electrodes were developed. The design parameters of technical means for purification and separation based on these models were proved and the methods for determination of electrophysical properties of weakly conducting suspensions in a rotating electric field were developed. The process of purification and separation of weakly conducting suspensions in pulsed and electric travelling field was theoretically and experimentally studied. The electrotechnical complex of purification and separation of sunflower oil in an electric field in laboratory and industrial conditions was developed and investigated.
