The dissertation work is devoted to important scientific and applied problem - development of scientific methods of determination of volume of natural gas losses and reducing imbalances of gas volume in gas transmission and distribution systems. It was achieved by means of identifying and reducing systematic and methodical errors of measurement of gas volume, identifying technological expenses and losses of gas, as well as improving of metering instrumentation and normative base for elimination of such errors.
