Essay

The object of the research is the processes of experiments planning with limited time and resources. The purpose of the research is to improve the effectiveness of experiment planning to obtain mathematical models of objects by the development of methodology for optimal cost and time experiment plans. The methods of the research are the theory of combinatorial analysis, experiment planning, symbol sequences, sets, modeling, mathematical statistics, optimization and programming. The theoretical and practical results: the methodology of optimal cost and time experiment planning is a scientific and methodological base for applying methods of mathematical modeling to research various objects and systems for industrial purposes which can be used in an active experiment. This methodology has been tested in the research of a number of processes, devices and systems. In order to introduce this methodology some software and hardware with certificates and patents of Ukraine has been developed. The main results have been put into practice in some organizations, businesses and educational institutions of Ukraine. The scientific novelty is the development of the methodology of optimal cost and time experiment planning which includes a set of proposed methods of optimization of experiment plans and some software and hardware to introduce these methods. Application: this methodology can be used in experimental research of technological processes, devices and systems by instrument-making companies, it is a tool for a research engineer in experimental study, calculation and object parameters modeling.
