Object of research - processes of convective heat - and masstransfer in conditions tech-nology refine liquid metal from gases. Purpose - solveing a problem economy of power and material resources for intensification the these processes on base generalization theory and mathe-matical models. Research methods - mathematical and theoretical modeling and industrial ex-periment. Theoretical and practical effects - research substantiated ways economy of power and material resources for increase productivity units refine liquid steel from gases. Newness - theoretical and mathematical models of processes heat - and mass transfer, wich are generalization precedecal and accord the experiments. Degree of implementation - results of dissertation were used for plants "Azovsteel" and "Universal equipment" and research discovery №149-2000. Area of application - metallurgy of steel.
