Essay

The thesis is devoted to establishing mechanisms and regularities influence of composition, structure and its structural defects on the magnetic and magnetotransport properties of magnetoresistive nonstoichiometric rare-earth manganites with a perovskite structure. The defect formation mechanism has been established. The molar formula of the real structure of rare-earth manganites have been determined experimentally. Experimental phase diagrams "composition-structure-properties" are constructed that allow everyone to determine the composition of the solid solution with the given magnetotransport properties.
