Essay

The thesis develops the scientific bases of heat exchange processes that occur in heterogeneous materials during their drying in thermal vacuum installations. New high-performance thermal vacuum installations and energy-efficient methods for drying heterogeneous materials have been developed. The regularities characterizing intensity of heat exchange in vacuum between the material being dried and the heating element have been obtained. This allowed us to develop the number of engineering processes of continuous vacuum drying and grinding of disperse materials, and to substantiate technology fundamentals of discrete vacuum drying of large capillary-porous materials depending on heating temperature, vacuum chamber pressure and the material structure.
