The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the regularities in formation of symbiotic communities of aquatic organisms in freshwater ecosystems, the significance of symbionts in the adaptation of hydrobionts to environmental conditions, the formation of biotic diversity, structural and functional organization of freshwater ecosystems. At the first time it is formulated conceptual approaches to ecological and physiological interactions between symbionts and the environment, the result of which is their phenotypic variability; between hydrobionts and their symbiotic communities with peculiar structural characteristics - with the environment, which are the result of changes in physiological and biochemical characteristics of the aquatic organisms. It was found that the destabilizing effect on the structure of aquatic symbiotic communities realized through direct effects on the symbionts, changing their size and species richness, and indirectly ? by changing the metabolism of the host and its symbiotic relationship with.It is shown that the cumulative negative impact of parasites and environmental changes is able to alter the adaptive capacity of aquatic hosts.
