Vedmedev M. Cultural Resources of Thought Productivity: Philosophical-Methodological Analysis

Problems of subject's intellectual activity dependence on his mental elements of culture (visions, ideas, images, metaphors, charts, archetypes, analogies, etc.) are under consideration. The status and trajectories of intellectual product progress in modern knowledge-based societies are investigated. New cognitive deformations are defined. The concepts "knowledge - product" and "knowledge - resource" are introduced and developed. Alternative interpretation of such phenomena as anthropomorphism and sociomorphism which are classified as legitimate methods of productive thought is given. Resource approach is evaluated as a conceptual scheme of historical and scientific reconstruction. Heuristic possibilities of ethnic languages, types of writing, numeral systems are paid special attention to.
