Essay

Thesis deals with the peculiarities of morphogenesis of the immune system of pigs (thymus, lymph nodes, spleen and lymphoid intestinal mucous membranes) in the early stages of postnatal ontogenesis from birth until the age of 29 days. The use of conventional morphometric techniques that are a result of research macro- and microscopic structure of the thymus, lymph nodes, spleen and lymphoid structures associated with the intestinal mucosa of domestic pigs in the early stages of postnatal period of ontogenesis. It was found that the morphogenesis of the immune system of pigs in the early stages of postnatal ontogenesis period characterized by general biological laws and occurs in a specific sequence, depending on the age of the animals and shows the relevant features of the morphological and functional specialization and differentiation of immune structures. On the basis of immunohistochemical studies for the first time shown that lymphoid tissue of the immune system of pigs (thymus, lymph nodes, spleen, lymphoid formations mucous membranes) in the early stages of postnatal ontogenesis maximum formed mature T lymphocytes with markers CD3, indicating the dominance of these cell mechanisms of immunity and B-lymphocyte markers CD79, which correspond to humoral immunity. Thus mucosal lymphoid cells (single and localized in lymphoid plaques) contribute to the formation of local immunity.
