Essay

The concept of generalized Cournot -Stackelberg - Nash equilibrium has been suggested for an important class of bilevel programming problems. Based on that concept, the strategy of generalized leadership has been introduced, which allow solving the known game theory paradox as well as interpreting competitive equilibria under asymmetric and mutual uncertainty. The applications of bilevel programming methods to the issues of competitive behavior, efficiency maximization, simultaneous maximization of revenue function and minimization of cost function, coordination of monetary and fiscal policies.
