The object of study: the processes of formation and development of agricultural market infrastructure in the region. Objective: justification of the theoretical and methodological principles and identification of patterns of formation of agricultural market infrastructure in the region based on the innovation basis and development of practical recommendations directed on its further innovative development. Methods: monographic, historical, structural and logical, scientific generalization, statistical analysis and synthesis, sociological. The novelty: for the first time the classification factors in the formation and development of agricultural market infrastructure in the region is conducted based on the allocation of economic and social conditions and economic development of regions determination the type of specialization, methodological approach to identify the impact of innovation on the formation and development of agricultural market infrastructure in the region by providing institutional, organizational economic and social components forming innovation potential of the region, aimed at increasing its adaptability to innovation, methodical approach to identify the nature and strength of mutual influence between the activities of public and private institutions represented in the region's economy, and the spread of institutional dysfunctions, limiting innovation development of infrastructure of agricultural market in the region is proposed, improved systematization types and components of agricultural market infrastructure in the region and justification for the selection of links, on this basis defined the priorities of innovative development of agricultural market infrastructure within the Lviv region, methodical approach to implementation of cluster analysis by its adaptation to the spatial distribution and localization of components agricultural market infrastructure in the region, methodical provisions for strategic planning of separate sectors development in the region. Scope of application: in the activities of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine in the formation and evaluation strategies of rural development at the level of separate regions, the Department of Economic Development and Regulatory Policy of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine with respect to the formation and development of effective infrastructure of regional agricultural markets, Departments of Agricultural Development of Lviv, Rivne, Trans-Carpathian, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administrations in determining the directions of improvement of agricultural market infrastructure in the region, the development of measures to improve the efficiency of agricultural production based on innovation, in educational process of Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S.Z. Gzhytsky in teaching several subjects.
