Essay

Within the thesis the physical basis of magneto-optical modulators have been investigated using magnetomechanical resonance, on single crystals base and as a part of composite structures. There is advanced theory of magnetoelastic oscillations of magneto-optical crystal cubic system given the size of the sample and value of polarizing magnetic field is proposed. The theory of magneto-optical spatial modulator based on bimorph plate in mode of magnetoelastic oscillations is presented.
