Essay

The object: the occurring processes during heating and melting exothermic fluxes and electrodes containing an exothermic mixture. Subject: The exothermic mixture in the electrode surfaces and in fluxes for electroslag processes; manufacturing blanks technological electroslag process on the "solid" start by mono- and bifilar process schemes. Electrodes with an exothermic mixture in a coating, welding and electrodes technological properties. Methods: X-ray, fractog-raphic, the chemical and gas metal analysis; the packages MS Excel application, MathCad, StatSoft Statistica. It is proposed and theoretically grounded for the first time an electrode coating composition that contains exothermic mixture as an energy saving source, increasing electrode coating melting mass speed and productivity arc welding. It is established for the first time that conductive fluxes with exothermic mixture providing electroslag processes starting period productivity increasing on "solid" start for mono- and bifilar schemes. Proposed the melting electrodes with an exothermic mixture in the coating physical model, methods to conduct the slag bath on the solid start for different conduct electroslag processes schemes and defined heat balance melting developed electrodes. Designed, tested in laboratory and industrial equipping for the manufacturing various details developed electroslag processes methods оn the "solid" start for mono- and bifilar schemes with using exothermic mixture
