The model of structure and evolution of the Ukrainian Carpathians is proposed on the base of the new geological materials in plate-tectonic terms of. On the base of sedimentological investigations, lithodynamic types in the flysch deposits of the Ukrainian Carpathians are destinguished. According to the geologic mapping data, the Latorytsa-Stryi strike-slip Zone was idintified on the boundary area between the Outer Western and the Outer Eastern Carpathians.
