The subject of the investigation is vegetable agrocenoses and greening their phytosanitary state. The objective of the investigation is development of environmentally justified approach and creation and use of biological preparations for optimization of the phytosanitary state of vegetable agrocenoses. Substantiation of the necessity to develop and use biological preparations for biological control of pests in vegetable agrocenoses. Revealing ecologically friendly strains of microorganisms and depositing them in the State collection of microorganisms. Development of the model of obtaining entomopathogen strains. Development of the ecologically friendly technology of production of the biological preparation on the basis of new strains of the fungus of the Trichoderma sрр.. Revealing special features of formation of the entomopathogen complex of vegetable agrocenoses. Assessment of economical effectiveness of the use of biological preparations on vegetable crops in greenhouses and in the field. Substantiation of ecological aspects of application of biological preparations for phytosanitary optimization of vegetable agrocenoses. The methods are laboratory, field experiments, and statistical methods. The concept of optimization of the phytosanitary state of vegetable agrocenoses, methodology of identification and the algorithm of obtaining entomopathogen strains, and the unified growth medium for the fungus of the Beauveria were developed. The collection of microorganisms was supplemented by new producers from the Beauveria, Metarhizium, Paecilomyces, Trichoderma. Arthrobotrys to control the number of pests in agrocenoses. The environmentally friendly technology of production of the biological preparation Trichoderma-R was elaborated. The employment of biological preparations for control of disease pathogens for vegetable crops was economically and ecologically substantiated.
