Essay

The thesis a dedicated to the study of metabolic changes and ways of their regulation in the organism of pigs in different physiological and ontogenetic periods with using new combined immunotropic preparations. The mechanisms of metabolic action of the vitamins A, D3, E, ofloxacin, interferon, L-arginine, zinc, selenium, cobalt and magnesium in the form of liposomal emulsion were found in the researches. The corrective effect of the preparation "Lipovit" on the immune and antioxidant systems in gilts, pregnant and lactating sows, piglets of early age and after weaning from sows was demonstrated. Efficiency of fat-soluble vitamins and antibacterial factors, selenium and interferon, included in complex preparations "Lipoflok" and "Interflok" to improving defense systems in the organism of piglets after weaning was experimentally confirmed. Stimulating influence of the preparations "Tsyvitar", "Seltsyvit", "Kovistsyn" and "Vitarmin" on the oxygen-transport function of blood, protein synthes, functional activity of immune cells and antioxidant system was revealed. These preparations also have normalizing effect on oxidative and non-oxidative ways of L-arginin metabolism in the blood of piglets under the different terms of weaning from sows. It has been found that the preparations "Kovistsyn" and "Vitarmin" can correct the activities of lactate dehіdrogenase, creatine kinase, alkaline phosphatase, the content of glucose, acute phase proteins, structural and reserve lipids in the blood of piglets after weaning.
