Palynomorphological study of representatives of the order Lamiales s.l. revealed specific l trends or sets of features in some taxonomic groups and phylogenetic clades of families Plantaginaceae, Scrophulariaceae and Orobanchaceae. That confirm the placement of number of formerly recognized families to these families. Schemes of possible trends of evolution were developed for morphological types of apertures and exine sculpture patterns in the families Plantaginaceae, Scrophulariaceae, and Orobanchaceae. Comparative palynomorphological analysis has revealed differences at the level of families and genera.
