Dissertation is devoted to the study of physical mechanisms of formation of local structure of interatomic bonds and morphology of amorphous thin films a-SiCxOy(:H) deposited by magnetron sputtering technique. Structural relaxation and its effect on electrical and optical properties of the films have been studied. Photoluminescent properties of highly dispersive SiO2:C materials in form of porous layers on monocrystaline silicon and nanopowders were invesigated in details. It is grounded that such materials are perspective as new type of fluorophor for artificial lighting and light indication applications.
