Essay

Dissertation is devoted to the study of the theoretical foundations discrete-continuous formation of coal and hydrocarbon formations. The inheritance of the Carboniferous - Permian - Jurassic - Paleogene - Neogene of biogenic matter (coal) accumulation and recent peat formation attributed to the same geological structure during its staidal activation is established. Each higher stratigraphic level habits coals of lower rank of coalification except of domains affected by contact metamorphism. The transformation of organic matter as whole and its microcomponents in particular by upward hydrogen-hydrocarbon fluid influx is characterized. It was substantiated the deposition of a coal-bearing component during the tectoni-magmatic epochs of the planet evolution while a hydrocarbon-bearing component has evolved permanently and stimulated by tectonic fracturing after mining of coal seams. It was found that gas potential of a coal rock massif depends on its tectoni-structural features. Possible gas-bearing reservoirs as natural in coal seams as production-induced secondary reservoir ones are revealed and outlined.
