The dissertation is devoted to the substantiation of theoretical and methodological support for the study of the processes of differentiation socio-economic development of Ukraine regions and the concept of spatial regions socio-economic development. The concept of spatial socio-economic development of the country regions, which is based on the principles of synergetic paradigm (non-linearity, openness, multiplicity, uncertainty, and disequilibrium), as well as the three paradigms of spatial development of the economy is developed in the dissertation. Reasonable conceptual model for the study of differentiation of socio-economic space of the country, the components of which are the polarization, divergence, convergence, alignment, uniformity, proportionality, uniformity, asymmetry, dynamism, problematic, and trouble-free, hierarchy and not the hierarchy as the various States of socio-economic development of the country regions. The methodical approach to assessment of the impact factors of regional economic growth on socio-economic development, which is a feature of the implementation of the following interlinked phases, as the assessment of social and economic development of regions; determining the relationship between the integral indicator of economic growth factors and indicators of socio-economic development; evaluation of the influence of particular indices of the factors of economic growth on the economic and social development of the regions of Ukraine; identification of factors that exert positive and negative influence on the economic and social development of Ukraine regions is developed. Methodical approach to complex structural studies of center-periphery relations between regions of Ukraine, which differs from the existing implementation of the following interrelated steps: conducting a clustering of regions according to the results of evaluation of factors of economic growth and their economic and social development; the interpretation of the obtained clusters with respect to their role and place in the system "center-periphery"; structural component analysis of certain clusters; defining a center-peripheral relations between regions of Ukraine is improved. Further development of theoretical reduce of differentiation of socio-economic development of regions of Ukraine, which consists of operating model study of differentiation of socio-economic space of the country; structural and logical scheme of evaluation of factors of regional economic growth; a methodological approach to identify the stage of problematic socio-economic development of the regions of the country; methodical positions according to the positioning of the regions of Ukraine in the plane of their socio-economic development; methodological principles of choice of instruments of state support reduction of differentiation of socio-economic development of regions of Ukraineіs developed.
