Essay

The thesis is devoted to numerical modeling using Lagrangian methods of dispersion of pollutions in coastal areas of the seas. New numerical algorithms for solving advection-diffusion equations in inhomogeneous currents field and mixing coefficient and for phase transormation equations were developed. The new numerical models for sediment transport, oil product spreading and radionuclide dispersion were developed. The models were tested and verified on analytical solutions and the results of laboratory and field experiments and applied for accidental releases forecasts.
