Essay

The basic idea is to develop a fundamentally new approach to the evaluation of dynamic performance of machine tools and machine tool systems with aggregate-modular design. Its essence lies in the development of a simplified methodology for modeling of static and dynamic characteristics of elastic tools system based on exact diakoptics methods and tensor analysis. A tensor approach to the evaluation of spatial rigidity of the individual subsystems (units) of the machine in the form of surfaces of ellipsoids is offered. An method for constructing the surface spatial compliance (stiffness) of the machine on its parts has been designed. The immediate relationship of the type surface shape of pliability of the machine and the cutting tool trajectory, which determines the accuracy of machining, was installed. The presence of such a link is confirmed experimentally by spectral analysis of the profiles parts that have been machined. On the basis of the proposed approach, the basic provisions for improving the technological rigidity and precision machining process using a machine with parallel kinematics in the composition of the robotic machine complex are developed.
