The thesis deals with solving the actual scientific problem of increasing the functional vehicle stability through the development of a comprehensive approach, that combines assessment system dynamic properties of cars at the design stage, these properties change in the operation and use of complex multicomponent model movement that allows us to consider the general dynamics traffic in the traffic flow. The approaches to the estimation and the improvement of functional stability of dynamic and energy-transforming properties of the car are developed. A measure of energy efficiency vehicle is proposed - energy efficiency. The additional energy costs resulting from fluctuations traction on the driving wheels of cars are determined. The relationship between the kinematic and dynamic parameters of the driving wheel with its movement, which is accompanied by torque fluctuations, is determined. The computer simulation of the influence of constructive and operational factors on the aerodynamic characteristics of cars is performed. The method of estimation of the maximum achievable indicators of the traction-speed properties of cars is developed. The experimental investigations of the influence of operational factors on the dynamic properties of cars have been carried out.
