Holod A. The Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Modernization of Regional Tourism Systems

In the dissertation the theoretical and methodological principles of modernization of regional tourist systems in the conditions of changes of the institutional environment and implementation of the European integration option of Ukraine are developed and substantiated. The economic essence and role of tourist systems in the structure of the regional economy are investigated. Theoretical approaches to the essence of the modernization paradigm of tourism systems development are generalized. Methodological approaches to the assessment of the status of regional tourism systems on the basis of sustainable development are developed. The modern components of regional tourist systems and their tendencies in the transformation period are analyzed. The state of tourist infrastructure in the composition of territorial social systems and its influence on modernization processes are characterized. The influence of the level of economic security on the development of tourist systems has been determined. The ways of improvement of the institutional environment in the sphere of tourism development in the conditions of decentralization of authorities are outlined. Methodical approaches to application of cluster model of development of regional tourist systems are formulated.
