Essay

The thesis is devoted to the solution of scientific and technical problem of developing the physical bases for the forming on medical implants of highly effective biocompatible coatings in the form of layer systems, greatly facilitating the integration of implants into living tissues and ensuring their long-term functioning in the human body. In this work the physical-technological regularities of the formation of biocompatible layer systems, including oxide, hydroxyapatite and carbon diamond-like films, are formulated. A comparison of the same coatings with each other has been made in terms of resistance to electrochemical corrosion processes. The structure and basic physical parameters of such coatings are determined and ways of stabilizing their composition and properties are considered. A technique for transferring oxide layers to the electret state has been developed, that has made possible to significantly accelerate the biointegration processes when the layer systems formed on the implant surface interact with the living tissues of the human body.
