Essay

Object: International Left Movement in the first third of the twentieth century. Purpose: to analyze the organizational principles and directions of the activities of the international leftist unions (II International, the Communist International (Comintern), the Socialist Worker's International (SWI)) in the first third of the twentieth century. Methods: computational, dialectical, structural-functional, historical-comparative, historical-typological, historical-systemic. Results: for the first time the participation and role of the Soviet Communists in the development of the ideology and practical activities of the Communist International were revealed, a comparative analysis of the organizational structures of the Comintern and SWI was conducted, ideological contradictions and intra-party controversy in the activities of the Comintern and SWI were investigated, the significance of the Ukrainian question in the activities of the international leftist unions in the interwar period was considered; approaches to understanding the content and structure of the organizational activities of the Communist International and the SWI, understanding of the political and ideological aspects of the structural construction of international leftist unions and organizations, mechanisms for studying the impact of the processes of modernization of society on the destruction of the established ideology and the change of political ideology have been improved. Field of use: in research (in the preparation of fundamental works on the history of Ukraine and on the history of socio-political processes in Europe), in teaching (in the process of developing and teaching normative and special courses in higher education institutions), as well as in practical-political (for the activities of political parties) spheres, for further in-depth analysis of related issues, in particular the history of the development of international political unions of the twentieth century, as well as in historical and political science studios.
