Essay

The thesis is devoted to the study of regularities of the formation of the atomic structure in liquid Al-based alloys with transition metals (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu) and silicon, elucidation of the effect of the nature and content of components on the local atomic structure of melts, studying of the relationship between the atomic structure in the melts and stable or metastable solid phases. The influence of the intensity of interatomic interactions (energetic factor) and the disordered close packing of atoms (packing factor) on the formation of the melts structure was established. The perspectives of structural data using for thermodynamic simulations of the metallic melts were described.
