The thesis is devoted to the study of processes of refining of iron-carbon melts from dissolved copper by sulfide refining and subsequent removal of sulfur and non-metallic inclusions, as well as the development of the basics of monitoring and control of steel purging by argon during secondary treatment on a ladle-furnace using analysis of the vibroactivity of the ladle surface.
