The dissertation paper is dedicated to the study of biological and morphological, ontogenetic, ecological,biochemical and alelopathic peculiarities of new and poorly distributed annual and perennial plants of the Lamiaceae Lindl family under introduction in the Central Polissya Zone of Ukraine. The data as to the origin, distribution and taxonomy of species have been introduced. The morphological and anatomical differences of generative plant organs depending on species and gene peculiarities have been determined. The age ontogenetic conditions and seasonal rhythms of development have been studied on the example of perspective annual and perennial species; the effect of climatic conditions on vegetative phase duration has been estimated. The conformity of primary and secondary metabolits accumulation in the surface part of annual and perennial aroma plants has been established. The main periods of accumulating maximum quantity of biologically active compounds in plants have been stated.
