Balakhtar V. Psychology of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality

The dissertation is devoted to the study of socio-psychological peculiarities of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality as the key subjects in the implementation of the social policy of the state. The essence, socio-psychological peculiarities, indicators, components and conditions of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality have been theoretically substantiated and experimentally investigated. The main theoretical and methodological approaches to the formation of the specialist's personality are distinguished, its essence and stages are determined. The conceptual model of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality is developed, taking into account the socio-psychological specificity of his/her professional activities. The results of the empirical research of the main tendencies of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality, the levels and factors of the formation of professional-personality neoplasms at the different stages of personality formation are presented. The socio-psychological conditions of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality in the process of his/her professionalization are determined. The system of the socio-psychological support of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality at various stages of his/her professionalization is substantiated. The effectiveness of the author's model of the socio-psychological support of the formation of the Social Work specialist's personality at the levels of basic vocational training (getting higher education), primary (at the stages of professional adaptation) and secondary professionalization (at the stage of improving the professional skills and experience transferring) has been tested and experimentally proved.
