Essay

The thesis is dedicated to solving the problem of improving the performance of ur-ban passenger transport. The direction of the study was identified by the need to develop new scientifically based methods and approaches to the introduction of alternative systems for generating electrical energy (ASGEE) for an urban electric bus (EB). A systematic analysis of the current state of urban passenger transport has been made. The necessity of using an electric drive and ASGEE to improve its performance has been proved. The method of creating a unified system of alternative sources of energy generation for urban passenger transport has been improved in the electric vehicle and in the transport infrastructure. The proposed methodology for the integrated assessment of electric motors (EM) of a traction electric drive is an integrated approach to creating unified diagnostic methods and tools, and is built on a seven-level hierarchy, that interconnects the directions and tasks of developing methods for evaluating EM by vibration levels at the design, manufacturing and operation stages, which makes possible to increase operational properties of EB. The values of permissible vibrational accelerations of traction electric motors of EB are deter-mined, which allow to evaluate their technical level. A model has been developed for optimizing the fast charging infrastructure for ur-ban electric batteries. Recommendations have been made on the development, reconstruc-tion and re-equipment of enterprises of urban transport operation by integrating ASGEE into the transport infrastructure.
