The thesis is based on the kinematics of the real cutting process and modern requirements for the accuracy of conical locking threads developed the theoretical basis for the design of threaded cutters for turning locking threaded joints with high performance, which became the basis for CAD cutting thread cutters for turning. The theory of conical lock notching formation has been improved, which consists in considering the kinematics of the real process of turning their side surfaces as oblique open convoluted helical surfaces, which are functionally dependent on the cutting edge profile of the cutter and its geometrical parameters at the blade apex: static leading angle and angle.
