Essay

In the dissertation work scientific and scientific-methodological foundations of the rational use of soil and land resources of Polissia Ukraine were developed for the first time, with the establishment of evaluation criteria for the optimal permissible agrogenic loads, among which the main ones are sequestration and emission of soil organic matter and their belonging to a certain type of land; regularities of the processes of emission ↔ sequestration of carbon dioxide by soils of Polissia Ukraine of different granulometric composition and degree of hydromorphism were established, the priority and combination of factors influencing the emission processes during the growing season of agricultural crops were determined; the regularities of the formation of flows of CO2 emitted by the soils of Polissia in the cold season under the influence of soil temperature and atmospheric pressure in modern conditions of climate change have been revealed; theoretically substantiated and developed a methodology for determining the duration and economic significance of the "recreational period of soils", the observance of which allows minimizing the loss of organic matter due to CO2 emissions and ensures the preservation of their fertility.
