Essay

On the basis of the theoretical analysis of the problem studied the main methodological approaches to define the essence, structure, formation and peculiarities of the professional awareness of the specialist are determined: humanistic, personality-activity, competence, systematic. The most promising in this direction the integrated approach is distinguished, it is the personality-competence, in the context of which the professional awareness acts as a consequence of the interaction of the individual with the competence and social spheres. The psychological factors that determine the dynamics of development and transformation of the professional awareness are identified. The constructs of the model, structure and mechanism of the professional awareness development are substantiated, which are integrated into the general construct – the psychology of the professional awareness of the specialist. The personality and competence determination of the development of the professional awareness of correctional educators is concretized and coordinated in the system-forming mechanism of the professional development. The concept of the experimental research is theoretically substantiated, which has been based on the position of the "technological" transfer of driving forces and origins of the professional awareness development into the language of specific properties, states, qualities, skills, abilities, actions. The psychological system of the professional awareness development of the correctional educator the basis of which is made by two basic levels is developed, they are the adaptation of the correctional educator to the professional activities and formation of effective individualized systems of the professional activities. The content of the development of the professional awareness of the correctional educator has a general direction of development of professional-personality qualities and improvement of competence in this process. According to the results of the experimental research, the expediency of application of the developed system of the development of the professional awareness of correctional educators and its personality-competence determination is stated.
