Essay

The thesis is devoted to the development of physical backgrounds for the creation of magnetic nanomaterials and structures with desired properties for spintronics and magnitophotonics applications, which will allow reducing energy consumption and increasing an information processing speed, as well as to figure out the peculiarities of physical processes taking place in such systems. The interrelation between nanotwin structure parameters and magnetic properties of Heusler magnetic shape memory alloys has been studied. It was shown that nanotwinning can lead to non-collinear magnetic structure formation and electron scattering on such structure results in the appearance of considerable negative magnetoresistance in a wide temperature range. It has been experimentally shown and theoretically explained the substantial enlargement of forth order anisotropy for main resonance modes in magnetic dots arrays covered by thin film of magnetic material. The formation of spin wave spectrum formation in perpendicular magnetized soft magnetic dots and when the magnetization is inclined with respect to the disc normal has been investigated and analyzed. The method of a preparation of crystalline films of bismuth substituted iron yttrium garnet with high bismuth content having large value of Faraday rotation on polycrystalline and amorphous substrates, which is based on introduction of bismuth substituted iron yttrium garnet with low bismuth content sublayer has been developed.
