Essay

In the thesis on the basis of theoretical is grounded methodological and methodical bases and practical recommendations on the decision of an important scientific and practical problem on maintenance of food safety of the Black Sea region and definition of priorities of development of agro-food sphere in market transformations and sustainable development of economy are developed. In order to ensure the recommended level of sufficiency of a certain food type in a country or a particular region, the author's methodological approach to determining the food competitiveness index of a country / region for a particular food group (IP) is proposed. It is proved that standardization, as a guarantor of product quality and safety, is functionally implemented in the context of scientific, technical, economic, legal, aesthetic and political aspects, contributes to the optimal ordering of the studied objects to improve product quality and as a consequence of increasing the efficiency of production on the one hand, and improving the organization of economic management, the development of international economic, scientific and technical cooperation on the other hand.
