Thesis for the Degree of Doctor of Technical Sciences in specialty 05.15.09 – “Geotechnical and Geomechanics”. – Dnipro University of Technology of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Dnipro, 2021. The dissertation deals with the solution of a topical scientific and practical problem of ground and mine water flow control in the tecnogenic environment of mining areas by adaptation of a technique of numerical hydrodynamic modeling in underground workings of different function taking into account permanent changes of flow and capacity parameters during operation and closure of mines. Using the justified approach to develop and validate ground flow models in mining areas, the parameters of transforming flow and capacitive parameters of mechanically disturbed rocks, the zones of tectonic faults and changes under the pumping mode are identified. The identified regularities take into account the stress-strain state of the rock mass; they were used to substantiate the safety of mining in the areas of large-amplitude tectonics, flooded workings and the emergency degassing well, which allowed to extend the mine operation period and ensure complete extraction of minerals. The technically possible and environmentally safe way of restoring the water exchange zones and controlling the hydrodynamic mode at a stage of closure and flooding the mine is proposed. Key words: ground water flow, disturbed rock mass, numerical modeling, model validation, permeability and capacity parameters, stress-strain state, mining safety, water flow management, mine flooding.
