Essay

In the dissertation, on the basis of new scientifically substantiated results, a scientific and applied problem relevant for machine dynamics is solved - ensuring vibration resistance of rotating machine elements based on the development and practical application of automation theory, balancing rotors with passive liquid balancers, conducting complex mathematical modeling of dynamic processes in rotor systems taking into account operating conditions and optimization of balancing device structures. Complex mathematical modeling of the process of automatic balancing of rotors with a liquid balancer, unlike the existing ones, includes a hydrodynamic problem of rotating a cylindrical cavity partially filled with liquid; problems about wave formation on the liquid surface; geometric models of fluid behavior in the chamber of the self-balancing device (ABD). The results of the work allow you to choose a specific type of ABD liquid; calculate the main characteristics of ABD; determine the range of angular velocities at which self-balancing occurs; to evaluate the influence of elastic-inertial, damping and geometric characteristics of the rotor system on the efficiency of fluid self-balancing for a wide class of machines with variable rotor imbalance.
