Essay

The main scientific result of the dissertation is the development of theoretical provisions, methodological approaches and methodological recommendations for the formation and development of the conceptual framework for strategic management of economic sustainability of business structures in the region in crisis conditions. The object of the study is the entrepreneurial structures of the region in the conditions of crisis. The subject of the study is the theoretical basis, methodological foundations and practical tools for strategic management of economic sustainability of business structures in a changing market environment, the development of crisis phenomena and increasing uncertainty in the business economy. The methodological basis of the study was formed by the provisions of the systemic approach and analysis, synergistic approach to assessing the essence of sustainability as a separate scientific category, process approach in the context of developing methodological provisions for ensuring integrated economic sustainability of business structures. The theoretical basis of the dissertation research is the conceptual approaches, theoretical provisions and methods presented in the key works of domestic and foreign authors on the issues of improving the efficiency of business economics, the theory of crisis management of market structures, the theory of competitiveness, the theory of economic sustainability, the theory of innovative economy, the theory of sectoral markets, as well as the provisions of economic theory, the theory of state regulation, the theory of general and strategic management. The influence of modern crisis phenomena on the complex development of entrepreneurial structures is studied. The main organisational and economic features of crisis situations in the innovation economy have been determined. The basic principles of strategic management of entrepreneurial structures in the current crisis conditions are defined and characterised. The main approaches to defining the essence, types and internal structure of economic sustainability of entrepreneurial structures are disclosed. The existing methodological approaches to assessing economic sustainability are supplemented and expanded. Promising tools to support the integration of business structures have been added. Methodical approaches to minimising the risk of reducing the integrated economic sustainability in the context of the current crisis have been developed. Approaches to quantifying the impact of the socio-economic situation in the region on the level of economic sustainability of business structures are proposed. The professional competences of economic behaviour of business entities are formed and interpreted in a meaningful way. An economic model of strategic management of the integrated economic sustainability of business structures has been proposed. The allocation of the strategic process of management accounting and control (SMAC) to the strategic process of inter-organisational management accounting and control (SIOMAC) is substantiated. A methodology for using the tools for sustainable economic growth of entrepreneurial structures has been developed. The organisational and economic features and sequence of formation and improvement of anti-crisis strategies for managing the economic sustainability of business structures have been identified. Proposals for methodological support of the process of clustering of entrepreneurial structures have been developed. Practical recommendations on ensuring the economic sustainability of public-private partnership projects have been proposed. The practical significance of the dissertation is determined by the possibility of using the obtained practical results in the development of regulatory and legal documentation, state and regional programmes of state support and stimulation of entrepreneurial structures in times of crisis, in the formation and testing of corporate anti-crisis strategies to ensure economic sustainability, in substantiating the effectiveness of partnerships in an unstable economic environment. The results of the greatest practical importance include: an algorithm for the formation and development of professional competencies of economic behaviour of a business entity in the process of ensuring integrated economic sustainability, a methodology for using tools for sustainable economic growth of business structures, tools for supporting the integration of business structures represented by strategic processes of managing relationships with suppliers and customers (SSRM and SCRM). Also, methodological approaches to minimising the risk of reducing the integrated economic sustainability in the current crisis phenomena based on the modernisation of the Black-Scholes model, an economic model of strategic management of the integrated economic sustainability of business structures.
