Cutting of hardfaced and sprayed products. The improvement of the process efficiency and providing for the required characteristics of the condition of a coating surface layer. Metal-cutting machine tools, X-ray, DTA, deformation-spectrum analyses, electron microscopy. Principles have been developed of cutting of hardfaced and sprayed coatings of a high hardness with cBN tools. Tools and processes for cutting protective wear-resistant coatings. The productivity of cutting with cBN tools increases up to 6 times and up to 4 times as compared with those with carbide and diamond-abrasive tools, respectively.
