Essay

Present thesis dedicated to the important issue of practical medical care and based on the analysis of 385 cases of severe and moderate pediatric brain injury. We proposing prognostic criteria which allow to predict the outcome of severe brain injury in children with accuracy exceeding 90% level. Differential age approach in the diagnostics and treatment of children with severe head injury allows to improve significantly treatment results, to decrease mortality rate from 9.2 to 2.2 percent and to reduce the morbidity to 8-9 percent.
