The thesis devoted to the questions of creating a complex of new and updating the existing technological processes of acid electric steel production providing the increase of productivity, efficiency and quality. The work includes the theoretical study, research, development and introduction of a high-productive and economical steel smelting technology in acid arc furnaces with an increased silicon content in charge; technologies of deoxidizing by ferromanganese in the ladle of acid steel smelted in arc furnaces in interconnection with the temperature regime of casting; a rational technologyof acid steel smelting in medium-freduency induction furnaces; a monolithic lining of steel furnaces and steel-pouring ladles.
