Wastelands. Ecological foundation of preventing forest ecological systems' death and their restoration on tehnogenic territores. Geobotanic, fhisical-chemical, science of rocks', biogeocoenologic methods. Equip-ment: PH-meter-340, fiery photometer, photoelectro-calorimeter ISP-30, computer. Methods of protection and restoration of forest biogeocoenoses under the conditions of technogenic subsidence of mine fields and requirements to the technical stage of mine dumps recultivation have been worked out. Ecological, phisi-cal-chemical properties and forest ability of dump rocks have been designated. Principles of productive edaphotops forming and optimum tupes of forest crops on mine dumps have been worked out. The application sphere is developing wastelands.
