Morkun V. Ultrasonic control for technological characteristics of the crushed materials and adaptive regulation of the grinding and classaficating processes on its basis

Thesis for a doctor's degree by speciality 05.13.07 - technological processes automatization - Krivoy Rog Technical University, Krivoy Rog, Ukraine, 1999. The thesis is devoted to the problems of the automatic control of the crushed materials characteristics and adaptive regulation of technological processes by ore crushing and classificating at the concentration plants. The work determinins the main processes regularities for Lamb's waves spreading over the surfaces being in contact with the occasionally non-uniform heterogenious mediums and also the volumetric ultrasonic vibrations and gamma-radiation which have come through these mediums during process of their natural and specially ogranized displace-ment. The theoretical basis and technical means for ultrasonic control of the quali-tative and quantitative characteristics of the crushed materials within a pulp are worked out; the adaptive systems for the control of the processes during ore crushing and classificating have been worked out too on th eir basis.
