The object of study: heterogeneous solid state structures. The im of the study is to investigate the irreversible effects at low temperature ordering, finding out the low temperature phase formation and its degradation in a maggnetic field. Methods and equipment are cryogenic X-ray diffractometer, dilatometer, magnetometer. New results: the concept of competition between composition and strain contributions into the processes of low temperature phase formation and degradation are formulated, giant irreversible magnetostriction in the copper and manganese oxides at transirion to superconducting and antiferromagnetic state respectively was observed and investigated in a detail, model for superconducors was proposed, analytical solution and experimental confirmation were obtained, the meachanisms of interaction between nucleated lamels and intergrain boundaries, which determine kinetics of cellular decomposition were derived.
