Zajtsev V. Theoretical foundations for development and application of methods, technological means and information systems for resource saving technologies in metal production.

The author has investigated and analysed the production of rolled stock in sections as well as the mean of transportation involved at different stages of technological this process. Mathematical models and algorithms minimising the production losses have developed on the basis of system approach. Requirements for technical means of control and measurements are identified. Theoretical substantiation is given the possibility of changing basically new methods and devices using the phenomena shut occur when acoustic and electromagnetic waves expand and reflect. The devices designed to be used for measuring distance in heterogeneous media as well as for reading the information from the mobile objects that are not equipped with autonomous power sources are described.
