Essay

The objects of investigation are the methods of analysis and calculations of magnetic fields of electric-technical devices. The aim of researches is elaboration of new approach to the methods of analysis and calculation of magnetic fields on the basis of discontinuous functions usage. The methods of the theory of electromagnetism and mathematical physics have been applied. PC and experimental installations are used. Theoretical results consist in further development of the methods of analysis and calculation of magnetic fields in heterogeneous mediums on the base of discontinuous functions usage. New methods of field calculation in heterogeneous and nonlinear mediums are developed. Elaborated techniques and devices have been applied in "Electrotyagmash" Scientific Research Institute, in th6 Department of Electromagnetism of the Institute of Electrodinamics of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in studies at Universities. The realms of usage are theoretical electrical engineering, electric mot or building industry.
