3. Object of research: conducting and dielectric solids with taking into account surface energy and surface tension. Purpose of research: creati- on the thermodynamical theory of surface energy with taking into account the electrical and mechanical components. Methods of research: solid state physics, physics of surface phenomena, non-equilibrium thermodynamics, electrodynamics. Results of researches: It is developed the loped the theory which describes change of the surface energy and its parts for the conducting and dielectric bodies with state near to limit of strength and fluidity. The problem of determination the relations between parameters of thermodynamical state and energetic characteristics for surface layers of characteristics for surface layers of multicomponent bodies which are under the influence of the particle’s flows, heating, mechani- cal loading. It is determined that join of the thermodynamical model and criteria relation for limits of strength and fluidity in extremal cond itions simplifies the procedure of grounding the experimental data. The results are introduced into production. Usage: instruments for laser and measurement technique, instruments for physical experiments, information-measurement systhems.
